Working with our team of physical therapists, a medical director and, when needed, our registered respiratory therapist, Lifeline patients progress through a customized exercise program that involves telemetry-monitored aerobic exercise, resistance training, stretching, and practicing functional tasks. Consultations with a dietitian and social worker are available – as needed.
Our patients make remarkable strides in restoring their health and protecting their futures. Most experience lowered blood pressure and reduced cholesterol, increased endurance, greater physical strength, decreased depression, and an enhanced feeling of wellness. Best of all, by being well-educated by our staff, maximizing heart function, and improving overall health, our patients are better able to get back to their daily lives, stay active, and even participate in sports.
