Physical Therapists 

Dr. Chris Brehm, PT, DPT

Dr. Chris Brehm is a physical therapist and the owner of Lifeline Therapy. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and Master of Physical Therapy degree from Chatham University. He graduated from Marietta College, OH with a Bachelor’s in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. He is an active member of the Private Practice, Orthopedic, and Cardiopulmonary sections of the American Physical Therapy Association. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association, and the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Dr. Brehm’s professional interest is in evidence based physical therapy practice using manual therapy techniques with the incorporation of therapeutic and neuromuscular control exercises, as well as treating cardiopulmonary impairments. Dr. Brehm enjoys golfing, traveling, and attending sporting events.

Kevin Carbone, MPT, CSCS

Kevin Carbone is a physical therapist and is the Facility Director at Lifeline Therapy West Mifflin. Kevin joined Lifeline Therapy in 2014. He earned his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY graduating Summa Cum Laude. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and has worked with numerous high school, collegiate, and professional athletes over the years. Kevin is a certified clinical instructor, and has taught clinical laboratories at Chatham University, and guest lectured at the University of Pittsburgh. Kevin’s professional interest is in orthopedics; particularly sports related injuries, as well as utilizing manual techniques and therapeutic exercise to return patients to function. Kevin lives in the South Hills with his wife and three kids, and enjoys exercising, playing the piano and guitar, coaching his kids, and cheering on his many sports teams during his free time.

Dr. Kaley Booher PT, DPT

Dr. Kaley Booher is a physical therapist at Lifeline Therapy located in Monroeville. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Chatham University in 2021. She is a 2019 Magna Cum Laude graduate from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. Dr. Booher is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Cardiovascular  & Pulmonary Section. Her professional interest is in treating patients with cardiopulmonary conditions as well as those with orthopedic conditions. When Dr. Booher isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family, cats, going on walks, and reading a really good book.

Dr. Shelby Hoblit PT, DPT

Dr. Shelby Hoblit is a physical therapist at Lifeline Therapy. Shelby earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and minor in Human Nutrition from The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2015. Shelby earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from Chatham University in 2018. Shelby is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Her professional interests are in treating patients with cardiopulmonary and orthopedic conditions. Dr. Hoblit enjoys hiking, visiting with friends and family, and in the fall you can find her watching the Ohio State Buckeyes on the football field.

Dr. Karen Hoskinson, PT, DPT, CLT

Dr. Karen Hoskinson is a physical therapist at the McMurray location. Dr. Hoskinson joined Lifeline Therapy in 2016. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2008. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. In 2013 she became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies nationally accredited program. Dr. Hoskinson’s professional interests include helping people with Lymphedema manage their symptoms and gain a better quality of life, and expanding her knowledge of evidence-based diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic conditions. Outside of work, Dr. Hoskinson enjoys spending time with her husband and son, reading, and traveling.

Dr. Jeanette Kochman, PT, DPT, OCS

Dr. Jeanette Kochman is a physical therapist and is the Facility Director at Lifeline Therapy Forest Hills as well as part of the leadership team. Dr. Kochman joined Lifeline Therapy in 2006. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Chatham University. She earned her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University. She is a certified clinical instructor and has teaching experience as a guest lecturer at various local physical therapy schools and conferences. Dr. Kochman is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association Orthopedic Section, and the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Kochman obtained a Certificate of Orthopedic Excellence for the spine in 2017, a Certificate of Orthopedic Excellence for the lower quarter in 2019, and a Certificate of Orthopedic Excellence for the upper quarter in 2022. Her professional interest is in advanced manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, patient education, and incorporation of evidence-based treatments. Dr. Kochman enjoys spending time with her son, exercising, and any outdoor activities.

Dr. Rachel Long PT, DPT

Dr. Rachel Long PT, DPT is a physical therapist and the Facility Director at Lifeline Therapy Penn Hills. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2009 and her Bachelor Degree in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences with a certificate in Kinesiology in 2006 from The University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Long has an American Physical Therapy Association recognized competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation which she received in 2011, as well as advanced clinical skills and knowledge. She specializes in the treatment of dizziness, vertigo, concussion and balance in addition to orthopedic conditions. Dr. Long is a certified practitioner for LSVT BIG since 2017. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, The Vestibular Disorders Association, The Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy, and the Vestibular Rehabilitation Special Interest Group. In her free time, Dr. Long enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, and any outdoor activities.

Dr. Mindy Maggio, PT, DPT, GCS

Dr. Mindy Maggio is a physical therapist and is the Facility Director at Lifeline Therapy Warrendale. Dr. Maggio joined Lifeline Therapy in 2016. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Pittsburgh and her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from West Virginia University. Dr. Maggio is a Board Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist, and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Maggio is a certified clinical instructor. Her professional interests are in cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, orthopedics and manual therapy. In her free time, Dr. Maggio enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, running and yoga.

Kathleen Zulkoski PT, DPT, GCS

Kathleen Zulkoski earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Saint Francis University in 2011 and her Bachelor’s of Health Science with a minor in Neuroscience from Saint Francis University in 2009.  She was initially interested in physical therapy as an NCAA soccer player and later became passionate in the treatment and care of the geriatric population. She is an LSVT BIG certified clinician and a Board Certified Specialist in Geriatrics.  She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association chapter.  She has completed continuing education in manual therapy using Mulligan’s Mobilization with Movement techniques and her primary professional interests include treatment of patients with geriatric and orthopedic conditions.  In her spare time, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and participating in outdoor activities for exercise.

Michael Sidick, PT, MPT

Michael Sidick is a physical therapist for Lifeline Therapy, treating patients at our Forest Hills and Penn Hills locations. Michael joined the company in July of 2016. He earned his Master of Physical Therapy Degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, and his Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education with a specialty in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from the University of Akron. Michael brings 20+ years of experience to Lifeline Therapy with a background mainly in outpatient orthopedics, but also with experience in the areas of hospital inpatient, home health, worker’s compensation, skilled nursing and assisted living. He is currently working on completing a certification in Australian/Maitland Manual Therapy. His professional interests are in advanced manual therapy techniques, and bridging the gap between acute treatment and a successful continuum of care. Michael enjoys a wide variety of activities outside the clinic including, spending time with his wife and three kids, coaching baseball, home improvements, car restoration, gardening, camping, reading, and writing. 

Dr. David A. Thompson, PT, DPT, GCS, CSCS, CCI

Dr. David A. Thompson is a physical therapist and is the Vice-President of Operations for Lifeline Therapy. He earned his undergraduate degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UIW in San Antonio Texas. He is a certified clinical instructor from the APTA, and is an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh where he currently teaches in the Rehab Sciences Dept on Practical Issues in Disabilities. Dr. Thompson is a Board Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist, and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association Geriatric Section, and the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Thompson is also Board Certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. His professional interests include advanced manual therapy techniques for geriatrics, development of aging in place strategies, patient and family education on the rehabilitation and recovery processes. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, and volunteering where needed.

Dr. Kelsey Altman PT, DPT

Dr. Kelsey Altman is a physical therapist at Lifeline Therapy Monroeville. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Chatham University in 2019. She is a 2017 Summa Cum Laude graduate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. She is also an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist. Dr. Altman is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association. Her professional interest is in treating patients with cardiopulmonary conditions as well as those with orthopedic diagnoses. She enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, crocheting, and traveling. 

 

Emily Miskell PT, DPT

Dr. Emily Miskell is a physical therapist and the Facility Director at Lifeline Therapy Monroeville. Emily received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Rehabilitation Science with a certificate in Pathokinesiology in Rehabilitation. She went on to graduate from the University of Pittsburgh as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2010. She has more than a decade of experience in orthopedic physical therapy with a special focus on post-operative care including knee replacements and rotator cuff repairs, conservative care of arthritis, as well as comprehensive musculoskeletal care. She trained with the McKenzie Institute for spine care, is certified to provide Selective Functional Movement Assessments and to perform Graston instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization. Her individualized treatment plans focus on restoring function and quality of life with an emphasis on collaboration between the patient and clinician. In her free time, Emily is passionate about spending time outdoors hiking and going to beach as well as exploring new restaurants and cuisines with her husband. She loves animals, especially her dog George.

Olivia Lindstrom, PT, DPT 

Dr. Olivia Lindstrom, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist at Lifeline Therapy treating patients at the Penn Hills location.  She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Chatham University in 2022, and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2019.  Olivia is also a Registered Yoga Teacher, RYT200.  Olivia’s professional interests include orthopedic, neurologic, and chronic pain populations.  She prioritizes patient education and facilitates body awareness in her treatment.  Outside of the clinic, Olivia enjoys all types of exercise and yoga, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Respiratory Therapists

Carolyn Davis RRT, RRT-ACCS

Carolyn Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts from Allegheny College and Associate of Science and RRT in Respiratory Therapy and earned the Adult Critical Care Specialty credential in 2021. She has worked for several years in the Neuro-Trauma and Cardiac Intensive care units at UPMC.  Her previous experiences include 5 years working in the Emergency Department and Campus wide Medical Emergency teams at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. Carolyn had spent the four years prior to Lifeline teaching respiratory students in the classroom and clinically. Carolyn enjoys reading, traveling with her husband, being outside with her three dogs, and reminding her children that she would like to have grandkids.

Angela Rowland BS, RRT

Angela is a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care and is licensed by the State of Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania – Western Pennsylvania School of Respiratory Care with a BS in Respiratory Care. She is certified in Basic Life Support and a member of the National Board for Respiratory Care. Her previous experience includes Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Critical Care. Angela has been a part of Lifeline Pulmonary Rehabilitation since August of 2019 and works in the Monroeville location. In her free time, Angela enjoys kayaking and spending time with her children. 

Rebecca Cioccio BS, RRT

Rebecca Cioccio is a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care and is licensed by the State of Pennsylvania.  She is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania-Western Pennsylvania School of Respiratory Care with a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care.  Her previous experiences include critical care, homecare, and conducting clinical trials on respiratory equipment.  Rebecca had been a part of Lifeline Pulmonary Rehabilitation since September 2021 and works in the Forest Hills location. Rebecca enjoys boating on the Three Rivers, cooking, vacations at the beach, and spending time with her children.
