Compression Therapy:

The Normatec Recovery System provides dynamic compression using their patented pulse technology to help enhance blood flow and aid in recovery. This system uses compressed air to massage limbs, mobilize fluid, and ultimately speed up the recovery process.

Cupping Therapy:

Also known as myofascial decompression, cupping is a form of soft tissue mobilization that creates suction on the skin using a silicone or plastic cup.  Cupping works to lift the skin.  Through this, cupping brings increased blood flow to the body part, decreases muscle tightness and may help to decrease pain and discomfort.

Graston Technique:

The Graston Technique is a form of manual therapy or massage for instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization.  Our therapists are able to use the Graston Technique to identify and break up areas of soft tissue restrictions, scar tissue, and promote a better healing environment for the injured soft tissue.

Kinesio Taping:

Our therapists are trained in kinesiology taping methods which can be used to support muscles and joints and help reduce pain. It’s a great treatment for patients with musculoskeletal injuries, sprains, strains, and swelling. The tape can be left on for several days and can be worn during normal activities including exercising and showering.

Passive Stretching:

Passive stretching consists of therapist applied hands-on techniques to muscles.   The benefits of passive stretching are muscle performance and improved flexibility and range of motion. It can be used for pain management, injury recovery and prevention. Passive stretching helps reduce muscle tension and improve circulation, both of which can aid in the healing process.

Percussion Therapy:

Percussion Therapy involves using a handheld device to target specific areas with gentle pulses of pressure. The various pulse of pressure allows us to decrease muscle tension and soft tissue restrictions, increase blood flow and improve circulation, and decrease stiffness.
